Reed Arrows is a unique technology in Chronicles: Battle for Greece available to the Achaemenids at the Fort upon reaching the Classical Age. Once researched, it makes the Bowman, ranged Immortal, Cavalry Archer, and Galley lines attack 25% faster (thus reducing their reload time by 20%).

The player can research only either Reed Arrows or Sparabaras. Once either is chosen, the option to research the other is removed.

Trivia

• The effect of the technology is more than the sum of the Mongol, Ethiopian, and Saracen civilization bonuses.
• This is the second iteration of a unique technology making Galleys fire faster, the first being Ballistas, which was changed.
• Kipchaks trainable due to a Cuman ally researching Cuman Mercenaries are not affected by Reed Arrows, nor Genitours or any other units except the ones mentioned above.
