Ramesses (Hero Ramesses before Return of Rome) is a mounted archer hero in Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. He is available only in the Scenario Editor and the campaign mode of the game.
Campaign appearances[]
Ramesses has the appearance of a Chariot Archer, but is stronger, has 100 more hit points, 3 more attack, and 2 more pierce armor, but slightly less Rate of Fire. Like the Chariot Archer, he takes 4 additional damage from Slingers and Camel Riders.
He appears in the The Battle of Kadesh scenario in Age of Empires: Definitive Edition.
Overview[]
Unlike the Chariot Archer, Ramesses is not affected by Alchemy, as well as the bonuses of the Assyrians and Egyptians, since they affect Chariot Archers individually.
