โ | Target 2 Farms to sow the seeds of prosperity. They will produce food faster, heal nearby villagers, and make friendly units on them invisible. | โ |
—In-game description |
Prosperous Seeds is a Chinese Archaic Age god power in Age of Mythology: Retold - Immortal Pillars that is available to worshipers of Shennong. When invoked, it affects up to 2 Farms in a radius of 15, and permanently transforms them into an improved form which has 600 hit points (up from 200), generates food 40% faster than regular Farms, heals workers on it, and bestows stealth mode to friendly units. The god power can also be invoked on incomplete Farm foundations, even if it was not built up at all after the foundation was placed. This instantly turns the foundations to completed Shennong's Farms.
Further statistics[]
Age bonuses[]
Wonder Age: -75% recharge cooldown and recast favor cost.
Relic bonuses[]
Hekate's Torches: -10% recharge cooldown and recast favor cost.
Strategy[]
It should be used as soon as the player has Farms to boost food collection and make the Peasants working on them safer from enemy raids. If any Peasants were injured from hunting or previous raids, they should be prioritized to be sent to work on Shennong's Farms.
As this god power can also be invoked on foundations placed outside the player's Favored Land, the player can place two Farm foundations near the frontline, then use Prosperous Seeds on them to instantly turn them into built-up Shennong's Farms, granting the player's units in the frontline a place to conceal themselves for strategic purposes (such as units with low hit points which can be healed up later).

Trivia[]
- Due to an oversight, when the Farm's hack armor was increased to 40% in update 18.33318, the hack armor of Shennong's Farms remained unchanged. As a result, transforming Farms into Shennong's Farms results in the building's hack vulnerability increasing by 10%.
