Prosperity is an Egyptian Archaic Age god power in Age of Mythology that is available to worshipers of Isis. When invoked, it allows the player's Laborers to gather gold 80% faster than normal for 50 seconds. Since Retold, it also increases Caravan gold gather rate by +20%.
Effect[]
For 50 seconds, Prosperity increases the current gold gather rate by 80% for the player's Laborers and by 20% for the player's Camel Caravans.
Further statistics[]
Age bonuses[]
Wonder Age: -75% recharge cooldown and recast favor cost.
Relic bonuses[]
Hekate's Torches: -10% recharge cooldown and recast favor cost.
Strategy[]
Prosperity allows a large amount of gold to be amassed quickly and early. It can be used early on to speed up an early Classical Age rush, later in the Classical Age, and possibly in the Heroic Age. In later Ages, plenty of resources are available, so the power's effect will be diminished. To make the most of Prosperity, players should research Pickaxe or even Shaft Mine to increase their Laborers' carry capacity and have their Pharaoh empower the drop site. In team games, Prosperity works well with Thor's Dwarven Mine, and in this case it might be better to save it for use in later Ages.
