Proselytization (called Faith before update 6.0.878) is a unique technology available to the Abbasid Dynasty in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the Mosque in the Imperial Age. Once researched, Imams gain the Proselytize ability.
Proselytize (Active): Target a single unit and attempt to convert them, even without carrying a Relic. If the enemy unit remains within a 6-tile range at the end of a 6 second countdown, they are converted. This ability has a 60 second cooldown. Other religious units, hero units, and nonhuman units cannot be converted.
While in Golden Age Tier 2/3, the research speed of this technology is +15%/+20%, respectively. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%.
