Pravar Patel is the deuteragonist of the Act III: India campaign in Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties. He is an ally of Nanib Sahir and dons a dusty turban and Sepoy uniform that is stained with blood.
Biography
| “ | Born into a family of a lower caste, Pravar was indirectly forced into the military when his father died leaving their family without a source of income. Pravar had some experience as a soldier, so the easiest way for him to make money was to pick up a gun in the service of the British East India Company, joining a battalion consisting of men from higher castes and those with more military experience. The British officers of Pravar’s brigade disagreed with the discriminations of the Indian caste system and tried to intermingle men of different status and backgrounds. This, of course, was not appreciated by much of the men in their service, and it fueled an already strong hatred of the Company. At first, Pravar resented his fellow soldiers, but he quickly realized that regardless of caste, all of them had one thing in common: many of the British saw them as savages, inferior in every way. Keeping his caste a secret, Pravar forged relationships with many other angry soldiers intent on rebellion. To this day, he waits expectantly for the day when they will strike a powerful blow and oust the British from their land. | ” |
Pravar Patel was a sepoy soldier under the British East India Company until, dissatisfied with the British rule in India, joined the Indian resistance. He recognizes Nanib as general in charge of the rebels.

Pravar fights with a powerful rifle from a long range. He can use Eye of the Assassin which is similar to Crackshot Attack used by Explorers, but does less damage and has shorter cooldown.
Like other heroes, Pravar has many hit points (although lower than typical heroes), but if he falls, he will collapse instead of dying and need to regenerate enough hit points to be rescued by allies. Similar to Explorers, he can collect treasures, but cannot build Trading Posts and Town Centers.
