Portents is the second scenario of the Egyptian campaign in Age of Empires: Mythologies. It is played on a 12x12 sized map.
Intro[]
Thutmose and his retinue travel east toward Memphis.
Intro[]
A mountain pass southwest of Memphis
Commander: Lord, who are these thugs that threaten our families?
Thutmose: Only Ra knows... or cares. We will not take their invasion lightly. Hold up, men. This pass looks treacherous. Prepare for the worst.
Thutmose: Anubites! These abominations will suffer my blade!
Oracle: Each Unit has both a Type and a Class. Thutmose is a Heavy Infantry Hero. His Type is Hero, and his Class is Heavy Infantry. Heroes do bonus damage to enemy Myth Type Units, but are more vulnerable to enemy Human Type Units. Heavy Infantry are strong against enemy Light Infantry and Archers. Light Infantry, like this Spearmen Unit, are strong against enemy Cavalry but suffer against Archers. Learning the Type and Class Advantages will help you confront each challenge with confidence. As a Hero, Thutmose also has a unique Hero Power that he can use instead of Attacking. Using Thutmose's Power will help your other Units Move faster, but you cannot use it every Turn.
