Vault of the gods that generates unlimited wealth for whomever controls it.
—In-game description

The Plenty Vault is a building in Age of Mythology, created where Plenty is invoked. Unlike regular constructible buildings, it is indestructible. It can be captured by units of any other player, including enemies, if none of the current owner's units are nearby. It generates a trickle of 4 food, 4 wood, 4 gold per second which is added directly to the controlling player's stockpile.

A nearly identical version of the Plenty Vault appears on the King of the Hill random map, as the central objective for the players. It has the same stats as the regular Plenty Vault and functions in much the same way, except that it only provides 1 of each resource per second, and gaining control of it begins an 8-minute countdown to victory. It is always located at the center of the map, either on an island, a frozen lake, or on a hill, and is initially protected by Shades belonging to Mother Nature.

In-game description[]

The Vault of Plenty is created by Hephaestus' Mythic Age god power and provides a constant flow of food, wood and gold to the player who controls it. Another team may wrest control of the Plenty Vault away from the original owner by destroying all of the owner's units and buildings around the Vault. This makes it important to place the Vault in an area that may be defended from attackers.
—In-game help section

Take control of this Plenty Vault to get a trickle of food, wood and gold. If you (or you and your allies) hold the Vault until the timer runs down, you win! Another team may wrest control of the Plenty Vault away by destroying all of the enemy units and buildings around the Vault.
