The Photon Man is a cheat unit in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. Once the code is typed, the unit spawns immediately at the Town Center. Building a new Town Center automatically spawns the unit at that Town Center. Photon Man has the appearance of a futuristic looking spacesuit armed with a laser gun.

It is classified as a Hand Cannoneer, with similar projectiles to its Age of Empires counterpart. However, the Photon Man has a much lower DPS than the Laser Trooper.

Civilization bonuses

Spanish:
- Photon Men fire 18% faster.
- Archer armor upgrades cost no gold.
Burmese: Faith is 50% cheaper.
Koreans: Archer armor upgrades are free.
Portuguese: Archer armor upgrades are researched 30% faster.
Tatars: Photon Men deal +25% damage when attacking from higher elevation.
Bulgarians: Archer armor upgrades cost -50% food.
Celts: Photon Men can steal non-Celt sheep even if other players' units are nearby sheep.
Chinese: Archer armor upgrades cost -10%/-15%/-20% in Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age.
Sicilians: Photon Men resist 50% incoming bonus damage.

Team bonuses

Bulgarians: Archer armor upgrades are researched 80% faster.
Lithuanians: Faith and Heresy are researched 20% faster.
Teutons: Photon Men are more resistant to conversion.

Unique technologies

Bohemians: After researching Hussite Reforms, Faith costs 1750F and Heresy costs 1000F.
