Philip is an infantry hero in Chronicles: Alexander the Great. He is based off Philip II of Macedon, the father of Alexander. He shares his model with Hephaistion and Nearchos. As a hero, he cannot be converted and can regenerate hit points.

- A Lesson in Warfare: Philip commands the central section of the Macedonian army's position.
- Let the Prince Decide: Philip leads the Macedonian contingent entering Triballi territory. After the initial skirmish he's injured and unconscious, and is placed in a carriage while the Macedonian army retreats out of Thracian territory.
- The Battle of Chaeronea: Philip leads the eastern Macedonian flank against the Greek army.
- Right to Rule: Macedonian Commanders of the outlying Macedonian settlements are all renamed Philips.

- The character was voiced by Alec Newman.
- The model shared by Philip, Hephaistion, and Nearchos is internally known as "Macedonian Commander". This model has an associated icon in the game files, but the corresponding unit does not exist, except in its "dead" form.
- The model is equipped with an iron linothorax and Phrygian helmet resembling those discovered in a tomb attributed to Philip himself, as well as a xiphos sword.
