Tactics[]
Like all heroes, Perseus is very strong against myth units, and as a Greek hero he also fares well against all other units. His normal attack also inflicts a moderate amount of divine damage, allowing him to deal even more damage than usual. His special attack is perhaps his most devastating ability - he raises the severed head of Medusa to petrify enemy units, dealing 300 divine damage to them (instantly killing them before Retold) and immobilizing them for several seconds if they manage to survive. As with Medusai, this ability should be micromanaged to target the strongest myth units in an enemy army, such as Fafnirs, Mountain Giants, and Avengers. Since it can now also be used on enemy human units, using it against strong human soldiers like the War Elephant is also ideal. Furthermore, in Retold, Perseus is also strong against flying units with his anti-air ranged attack.
