Pavise is a technology unique to the Italians that can be researched at the Castle in the Castle Age in Age of Empires II: The Forgotten.
This technology increases the armor and pierce armor of Genoese Crossbowmen by one.
Strategy
Pavise is an upgrade like any other. The player must treat it like another Blacksmith upgrade, only it's more expensive and only applies to Genoese Crossbowmen. The player must always buy Ring Archer Armor first, as it is cheaper and better and at last they must research Pavise to improve their Genoese Crossbowmen.
