The Panda is a wild animal that appears in Age of Empires III as a Treasure Guardian and in Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon as a dangerous huntable.

Template:WildlifeThe Panda Bear is a huntable animal in Tale of the Dragon. Like other dangerous predators, it will attack villagers on sight, but provide plenty of food if they manage to kill it.

Pandas appear as Treasure Guardians in Age of Empires III. Their high hit points and attack justify the use of explorer abilities, as this gives the player the opportunity to focus on more important tasks and/or give some extra hits.
As a Pet
There is also the possibility of obtaining the Panda as a pet, through the "Nature Friendship" ability, available to Native American civilizations added in Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs, or by claiming treasures. The pet version of the Panda is named Pete-Pete the Tame Panda and boasts a large sixty damage to treasure guardians while possessing approximately 450 hit points, a relatively large sum for a pet.

He is also among the rarest pets, as Pete-Pete can be found mostly in Yellow River and Silk Road.
