This article is about the campaign unit in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. For the Norse unit in Age of Mythology, see Ox Cart (Age of Mythology). For movable drop off building, see Mule Cart. |
The Ox Cart is an untrainable unit in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. It is only available in a few campaigns and the Scenario Editor.
Ox Carts seem to be a "decoration" unit, as they only serve the purpose of briefly-appearing characters in campaigns. Much like Kings, they have no attack or function whatsoever, being only limited to walking around.
There is also a dismantled version of the Ox Cart available in the Scenario Editor, although this is purely decorative and not a full unit.
