Northern Isles is a random map in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
Description[]
The cold and unforgiving islands of the North Sea leaves you with plenty of resources but in constant fear of enemy aggression from any direction.
Northern Isles is a water map very similar to Islands. Each player begins on their own island, which is larger and more regular in shape than in the Islands map. In the center of the map is a smaller island with numerous Gold and Stone deposits, as well as aggressive animals. Each player begins with a Transport Ship and a Hut.
