The Native Boy is a Hero unit appearing in the Act I: Blood scenario A Pirate's Help in Age of Empires III. Lizzie introduces him as a friend of her, and tasks Morgan Black with bringing him back to his tribe.

Trivia

• The Native Boy fights with a Blunderbuss, just like European and Federal American Settlers.
  • Although it fights using a firearm, the Native Boy does not have the gunpowder infantry tag, erroneously having the archer tag instead.
• Because of an apparent oversight from the developers, probably due to the unit appearing only in the campaign, until an update of Knights of the Mediterranean, the Native Boy had both the AbstractInfantry and AbstractLightInfantry tags, which made it vulnerable to both counter-infantry and counter-cavalry units. The same also happened with the Cherokee Archer.
