Musa ibn Nusayr is a mounted archer hero controlled by player B in the Consolidation and Subjugation (co-op) scenario. He is also present in the Scenario Editor since Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. He is based on the governor and general of the Umayyad Caliphate with the same name who ruled over the Muslim provinces of North Africa and directed the Islamic conquest of the Visigothic Kingdom in Hispania.
In-game, he has the appearance of a Camel Archer. Like other cavalry archers, Musa ibn Nusayr is affected by all technologies that affect cavalry archers as well as any other bonuses that affect them. As a hero, he cannot be converted and can regenerate health.
