Mountain Clearing is a random map in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition. It's a land map where most of it is not accessible, a ring of trees surrounds the center and the player bases have a lot of nearby resources, like Deer near the Town Center, but the playing area is so small that games tend to be highly aggressive and quick.
Trivia[]
- The map is very similar in concept to Socotra from Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, both maps being a circle of playable area in the middle, surrounded by inaccessible terrain
