Morass is a random map in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Dynasties of India.
Description[]
Morass features a central rainforest surrounded by shallows filled with numerous shore fish. Small ponds of shallows dot the map, and the shallows near the corners have box turtles.
As "compensation" for the extensive amount of fish, the player starts with two Boars, but only four Sheep.
Best civilizations for Morass:
- Civilizations with good early aggression capabilities (Aztecs, Cumans, Mongols, Tatars, Turks, Huns, and Magyars)
Civilizations that may struggle in Morass:
- Civilizations with poor early game bonuses or poor early game defense (Portuguese, Turks, Italians, Vietnamese, Saracens, etc.)
