| “ | Fast anti-archer skirmisher that cannot attack at close range. | ” |
| —Chronicles description | ||
Alexander's Peltast is a special version of the unit available in the Alexander the Great campaign in Chronicles: Alexander the Great. It can be trained at the Macedonian Command Post if chosen over Alexander's Rhomphaia Warrior in Woe unto Thebes. Its attributes are largely similar to those of the Mercenary Peltast, except for having a lower attack and movement speed, and differing armor classes and attack bonuses. It is hidden in the Scenario Editor.
It gains +1 pierce attack, +2 pierce armor, and +2 anti-cavalry archer attack automatically when advancing to the Imperial Age.
Campaign appearances[]
- Woe unto Thebes: Alexander can make a lasting decision to choose between Alexander's Peltasts or Alexander's Rhomphaia Warriors as trainable units.
Trivia[]
- The Mercenary Peltast has an internal cost of 25 food, 35 wood and a training time of 22 seconds, which is the same as that of a trainable Skirmisher.
