The Matsuri is a unique building in Age of Empires IV: Dynasties of the East available to the Sengoku Daimyo beginning in the Dark Age. It replaces the Market and acts as a universal resource drop-off point. Additionally, it increases the gather rate of nearby Villagers as it receives food shipments from the Yatai.
Abilities and influences[]
Matsuri Aura (Passive): Each Yatai trader that arrives at the Matsuri will increase the gather rate of Villagers within the Matsuri's 10-tile radius aura by +5%, up to a maximum of +30%. The effect lingers for 15 seconds after leaving the aura. The buff percentage can be tracked from the ability tooltip, or by looking at the number of stalls set up within the Matsuri.- Brewery Buff: (Passive, requires Sake Brewery) After receiving a Sake delivery from the Sake Brewery, the Matsuri grants all Villagers within its 10-tile radius +40% hit points. The buff from the Matsuri lasts for only 60 seconds, but the effect lingers on affected Villagers for 300 seconds after the buff expires, or after they leave the aura.
- Redirect Yatai: (Active, Toggle) While toggled on, all Yatai Food Traders from all Yatai will deliver their food to this Matsuri instead of their home Matsuri. Toggling the ability on one Matsuri will automatically disable it on all others.
