Magumo is an antagonist of the Yasuko's Tale campaign introduced in Age of Mythology: Retold - Heavenly Spear. She is a cunning and powerful Jorogumo demoness who kidnapped Tatsuro, father of protagonist Yasuko.
Special abilities[]
Divine Immunity (Passive): Cannot be targeted by god powers which target a single specific unit.
Sacred Hands (Passive): She can pick up and deposit Relics in Temples.
Regeneration (Passive): Regenerates hit points at 1.5/second.
Perforate (Charged): Seizes an enemy, then repeatedly stabs it with piercing limbs. (Grabs, damages, then throws units within weight class 7)

Despite having her own voice actress, Magumo uses the regular Jorogumo's dialogue lines.
- Select 1 Fufu, nanikashira? (ふふ、何かしら?) - *chuckle* What is it?
- Select 2 Awa, Nan no koto? (あは、何の事?) - Ah, what's up?
- Select 3 Mō, junbi wa dekite iru wa (もう、準備はできているわ) - I'm ready now
- Select 4 Meijitemite (命じてみて) - Try giving an order
- Select 5 Kumo ni nani o nozomu no (蜘蛛に何を望むの?) - What do you want from a spider?
- Move 1 Fufu, īwa (ふふ、いいわ) - *chuckle* Good.
- Move 2 Sonotōri (その通り) - That's right
- Move 3 Watashi ga yaru wa (私がやるわ) - I'll do it
- Move 4 Ito o tadotte (糸をたどって) - Following the thread (糸 can refer to a thread and literally means "spider silk")
- Move 5 Yokutteyo (よくってよ) - Fine
- Attack 1 E e! (ええ!) - Yeah! *chuckle*
- Attack 2 Karami toru wa! (絡み取るわ!) - I'll entangle you!
- Attack 3 Kumo no mai (蜘蛛の舞) - Dance of the Spider
- Attack 4 Kari no jikan yo (狩りの時間よ) - It's time for Hunting
- Attack 5 Susumi nasai! (進みなさい!) - Move on!
