“ | Villagers gather Wood much faster. | ” |
—In-game description |
Log Flume is a technology in Age of Empires III that can be researched by European civilizations at the Market once the Colonial Age is reached and Gang Saw is researched. Once researched, it allows Settlers, Coureurs des Bois, and Settler Wagons to gather wood 20% faster. Circular Saw is the further upgrade of this technology.
Log Flume should be researched if the player is planning on an economic strategy that involves using a lot of wood, such as a British longbow/pike strategy.
