Liquid Explosives is a unique technology in Age of Empires IV: The Sultans Ascend available to the Byzantines and Macedonian Dynasty that can be researched starting in the Castle Age. It enables incendiary ships to deal full damage to all enemies in their explosion radius and replaces the Incendiaries technology for the these civilizations.

Byzantines: When researched at a Dock within the influence of a Cistern with the Dialecticus ability active, the research speed of this technology is 30% faster per water level at the Cistern.
