Lighthouse is a Classical Age technology in Chronicles available at the Academy for all civilizations. Researching Lighthouse increases the damage that defensive structures do against ships, and is the equivalent of Heated Shot in Age of Empires II.

Tactics

While Forts are already good at repelling ships, it is still useful in naval maps, especially for towers constructed where Forts cannot be placed.
