Trivia[]
- The Lembos and Levy are the only military units trainable in the Archaic Age.
- The Lembos is the only warship available in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition which does not cost gold, making it a trash unit.
- The Lembos specifically has an attack bonus against Galley and Catapult Ship lines in Chronicles, which does not translate to attack bonuses against their Age of Empires II counterparts.
- Despite being described by the game as a scout unit, it is not actually considered one and cannot Auto Scout.
- Lembos refers to small fast ships which were used for a wide variety of civilian and military purposes since the classical period.
- In the game, the Lembos line is armed with Greek fire. However, this is anachronistic for Chronicles, as it was developed by the Byzantines in the 7th century AD.
