The Learicorn is a cavalry cheat unit in Age of Empires III. It looks like what appears to be a man in a tuxedo riding a unicorn. The unit attacks enemies by hitting them with what appears to be a player-colored cane.
The Learicorn is one of the least durable cheat units; even though it can quickly kill units, it only has 600 hit points. Other units, such as The Tommynator, can have up to 60,000 hit points.
This unit is hidden in the basic tutorial. The player can view the Learicorn in the tutorial by building a Dock, constructing a Caravel, and then transporting a land unit to the northeastern side of the map to make contact with it. The player can also click "Resign" in the menu options and will be able to view it. The player can order Settlers to chop trees. It is hostile and extremely strong, and will kill any unit in one hit.
It is possible to create the Learicorn in a scenario, by clicking the "replace unit" button under "objects" bar and selecting Learicorn, when an already-placed unit is selected.

- According to Sandy Petersen, the Learicorn unit was made because David Leary (a game designer at Ensemble Studios who worked on Age of Mythology and Age of Empires III) was seen buying a unicorn poster at a store.[1]
