Leaf-Headed Shafts is a unique technology in Chronicles: Alexander the Great available to the Puru at the Fort upon reaching the Classical Age. Once researched, it improves Pattiyodha Longbowman ability by +1 (so regular/Elite goes from +3/+4 to +4/+5 attack when enemy units are nearby).
The player can research only either Leaf-Headed Shafts or Vadhāvadha. Once either is chosen, the option to research the other is removed.
