Kuafu Chieftain is a Chinese myth technology in Age of Mythology: Retold - Immortal Pillars that is available to worshipers of Nüwa and can be researched at the Town Center. Once researched, it spawns a Kuafu Hero from the Town Center, which respawns if killed. The Kuafu Hero works faster than ordinary Kuafus, and is strong against myth units.

- The Kuafu Hero respawns 120 seconds after dying.
- With update 18.21333, the Kuafu Hero respawns 240 seconds after dying. This change had been intended for update 18.12962, but was not implemented due to an oversight.
