- It was initially intended for the unit to have two auras which the player could switch between. While only a single aura was implemented at release, the description for the unit mentioned both. It was updated to remove referencing this mechanic in update 18.12962. The details of the other aura are:
- The weapon wielded by Jiang Ziya is a Chinese hard whip or biān (鞭), a heavy, rod or truncheon-like weapon often seen in Chinese religious iconography as a symbol of justice. In legend, Jiang Ziya possessed a magical hard whip called the Dǎshén Biān (打神鞭), or 'Immortal-Thrashing Whip', which could only strike immortals whose names were recorded on the Fēngshén Bang (封神榜, 'Scroll of Godly Investiture'), a list carried by Jian Ziya of those ordained to become gods.
