—Age of Empires IV description |
Jean de Beaumanoir is a heavy melee cavalry leader who appears in The Combat of the Thirty, the first scenario of the The Hundred Years War campaign of Age of Empires IV. He is essentially a Knight with significantly increased hit points. Additionally, when out of combat, his speed decreases significantly.
Ability[]
- Attack Speed (Active): Increases the attack of all units within a 6.25-tile radius by 50%. It also theoretically increases ranged unit attack speed, but there are no ranged units in his scenario. The ability lasts for 15 seconds and has a 30 second cooldown (45 second starting the moment it is used).
- Fortitude (Passive): Regenerates health at the rate of approximately 11 hit points every 3 seconds.
Campaign appearances[]
The Hundred Years War[]
- The Combat of the Thirty: Jean de Beaumanoir leads the French champions in the tourney against their English rivals. First, he must recruit more champions by visiting them each in turn and performing certain tasks alongside them, or alone, as with his duel against Yves Charruel.
