Javelin Emplacement is a weapon emplacement for the Malians in Age of Empires IV, introduced in Season Nine. It is available starting in the Feudal Age and requires the Saharan Trade Network landmark to unlock, after which it replaces Arrowslits on all Toll Outposts. The Saharan Trade Network also comes with a built-in Javelin Emplacement. The Javelin Emplacement is an improved version of Arrowslits with higher range, damage, and an attack bonus against ranged units.
