| —In-game description | ||
Ivory Netsuke is a Japanese myth technology in Age of Mythology: Retold - Heavenly Spear that is available to worshipers of Inari Ōkami and can be researched at the Temple in the Classical Age. Once researched, it grants myth units the ability to generate gold when fighting enemy units, but not when attacking buildings.
Effects[]
- Non-Titan
myth unit: Generates gold equal to half the damage dealt to units.
Titan: Generate gold equal to 5% of the damage dealt to units.
Note: This only applies to damage dealt by the initial hit and excludes damage from lingering effects, such as poison or bleeding damage. It also excludes damage dealt by certain secondary attacks, such as the Asura's fireballs, but includes damage from charged abilities.

History[]
| “ | Netsukes are intricately carved small sculptures that were first created during the Edo period. Traditionally carved from ivory, these miniature works often depicted scenes from folklore and legends rooted in Japanese tradition. From an economic standpoint, netsukes were incredibly popular both within Japan and in foreign markets – especially in Europe. | ” |
