Ismail is a unit in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - The Mountain Royals. He is a cavalry hero found in the campaign scenarios and the Scenario Editor. As a hero, Ismail cannot be converted and can regenerate health. He represents the younger version of Shah Ismail.
Ismail is represented by a Scout Cavalry with better stats, but far lesser than his older version.
