Iphicratean Tactics is a unique technology in Chronicles: Battle for Greece available to the Athenians at the Fort upon reaching the Classical Age. Once researched, it grants the Skirmisher line a charged attack which increases its pierce attack by +4 over 40 seconds.
The player can research only either Iphicratean Tactics or Taxiarchs. Once either is chosen, the option to research the other is removed.
Trivia[]
- Iphicrates was an Athenian general who revolutionized Greek warfare by incorporating lightly-armed peltasts (represented by Skirmishers) in the army.
