—Age of Empires IV description |
The Incendiary Ship is a military ship type in Age of Empires IV available to all civilizations in various flavors that can be trained at the Dock. It is a small ship packed with explosives that has no weapons other than self-destruction.
Ability[]
- Detonate: This is the inherent attack ability of the Demolition ship, which causes the ship to self-destruct upon use and deal damage across an area, and can be triggered in several ways. By right clicking on an enemy, the Incendiary Ship will attempt to reach the enemy and detonate once it gets close enough. Alternatively, the detonation can also be triggered manually by either using the ability hotkey or deleting the unit. Finally, an Incendiary Ship will also detonate upon reaching 0 hp. All methods deal the same amount of damage. The detonation has a 2-tile radius range, and damage reduces down to 75% and 25% further from the explosion center.
