Incendiaries is a naval technology in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition available at the Dock starting in the Castle Age. It increases the explosion range of all incendiary ships by 20%. It is not available to the Byzantines, whose comparable technology is Liquid Explosives.
Civilization bonuses[]
Abbasid Dynasty: Research speeds are +15%/+20% faster while Golden Age tiers 2/3 are active. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%.- Ayyubids: Research speeds are 25% faster while Golden Age tier 2 is active.
- Chinese and Zhu Xi's Legacy: Docks work 10% faster
- Delhi Sultanate: The technology is free, but takes 7.5x as long to research (150 seconds instead of 20 seconds). Research speed can be further increased by 20% for each garrisoned Scholar.
- House of Lancaster: This technology is 15% cheaper if King's College has been constructed.
- Japanese: Research speeds are 125% faster at Docks with garrisoned Yorishiro
- Malians: Technologies take less time to research based on how much gold has been obtained through trade.
Changelog[]
- Originally, Incendiaries cost 100 food, 250 gold and researched in 30 seconds. With update 15.1.6970, it costs 75 food, 125 gold and researches in 20 seconds.
