The Inca War Chief increases the hit points and attack of native warriors in a radius of 24 around him by 10%. As all War Chiefs do, he can convert non-animal treasure guardians with Recruit Guardian, use a powerful spear attack with Condor Eye, detect stealth units, claim treasures, and build Town Centers, Tambos, and Strongholds. Like other explorer-type units, the Inca War Chief will collapse instead of dying and can be rescued once he recovers enough health, although the War Chief Ceremony at the Community Plaza allows the player to return him there after a while as well as increasing his hit points.

Condor Eye: Long range attack with a javelin that inflicts area damage (deals 46 ranged damage on a range of 24 in a radius of 1, with a ×3.0 multiplier vs. Treasure guardians, ×1.5 vs. cavalry, ×1.3 vs. shock infantry, ×0.75 vs. heroes, ×0.67 vs. Brahmins and Lakota War Chief, ×0.25 vs. villagers). 70 seconds cooldown; shared across the Recruit Guardian and Swashbuckler Attack special abilities.
Swashbuckler Attack (requires the "Son of Inti" Home City Card): A sweepping hand attack that damages all units in the area (deals 40 hand damage in a radius of 2 around the Inca War Chief, with a ×3.0 multiplier against Treasure guardians, ×0.5 vs. villagers, and ×0.1 vs. MercType2). 90 seconds cooldown; shared across the Recruit Guardian and Condor Eye special abilities.
Health Regeneration (passive): Regenerates 0.25% hit points per second after 3.5 seconds idle.
War Chief Support (passive): The Inca War Chief increases the hit points and attack of nearby friendly native warriors by 10%.
Upgrades[]
The Inca War Chief is automatically upgraded in every Age up.
The Portuguese and Spanish can get Manco Inca upon revolting to Peru through the "Manco Inca" Home City Card. This Manco Inca gets +500% hit points and +600% attack, can build Town Centers and Trading Posts, and has the Inca War Chief's abilities. Also, he can build up to 2 Strongholds which train various Inca warriors if the "Machu Picchu" card is sent.
Originally, the Inca War Chief had 4.25 speed and no multiplier against heroes. With update 6159, it has 4.5 speed and a x0.75 multiplier against heroes.
The Inca War Chief increases hit points of native warriors by 20%.

The indomitable ruler of the Inca Empire was the Sapa Inca, who was believed to be the son of the sun-god Inti and thus semi-divine. His function was mainly political and spiritual: he administered the maintenance and growth of the extensive Inca infrastructure system and was responsible for overseeing the efficiency of the political and economic bureaucracy, arranging the calendar, and for providing for the impoverished. As a conduit to the sun-god Inti, he also oversaw the worship of this all-important deity.
However, the Sapa Inca had a critical military function as well: he was bound by the responsibility to expand the Inca Empire so that he might leave his successor with more than he himself had inherited. Many Sapa Incas oversaw extensive military campaigns that were carried out by their loyal generals, often their own sons. Politically, religiously, and militarily, the Sapa Inca's absolute authority was symbolized by an extensive regalia of significant items that marked his role as the link between gods and humans. Even posthumously, the Sapa Inca retained this role and was purportedly a valuable source of information and wisdom for those visiting his tomb.
