Hunting Dogs was a technology in the mod Age of Empires II: Forgotten Empires that could be researched at the Mill. Once researched, hunters and fishermen worked 25% faster.

When the mod was first released, Hunting Dogs was free for the Magyars, but in patch 1.1, that bonus was taken away. As of patch 2.2, Hunting Dogs was removed from the technology tree entirely.

Trivia

• Hunting Dogs in Age of Empires II used the same icon as its Age of Mythology counterpart.
• It was removed because competitive players thought it was too rewarding when Boars and Deer are spawned near the player's base, and forced them to build a Mill much earlier.
• It is the only non-unique technology whose effects were removed from the game entirely, rather than being granted for free when reaching the requirements. As a consequence, even through hacking, the technology does not increase gathering rates.
