Huayna Capac is a foot archer hero available in the Scenario Editor in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. He is based on the ruler of the Inca Empire with the same name who expanded the empire to its maximum size and power under his rule, stretching from Ecuador, and southwestern Colombia to the north to much of Chile and Argentina to the south. However, this legacy was short lived since the empire fragmented into two entities upon his death and conquered by Spanish conquistadors shortly after. He is the son of Topa Yupanqui and the grandson of Pachacuti. In the game, Huayna Capac is represented by a Slinger but with better stats. As a hero, he cannot be converted and can regenerate health.
Like other archer units, Huayna Capac is affected by all upgrades that affect archers as well as any other bonuses that affect them.
