Template:Infobox God Power Hesperides is an Atlantean God Power in Age of Mythology that is available to those who choose Theia as their Heroic Age god. It creates a large Tree from which Dryads can be trained. They train very quickly and cost only 150 gold which is cheap compared to most myth units. However, only five Dryads can be in play for each player at a time.
A less known use for the Hesperides tree is that it acts as shield against god powers, much like the Isis Monument. As such placement is a tactical choice. Placing it close to the front lines risks its capture by the enemy but prevents the opponent from using God Powers there. As this power can be used twice it is best to put one on closer to the front lines and one near the base, preventing the use of God Powers and allowing Dryads to partake in both defense and offense.
