Heavy Riverboats is a technology in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition - The African Royals that can be researched by African civilizations at the Port once the Commerce Age is reached. Once researched, warships have their hit points increased by 25%. It also renames Battle Canoes and Cannon Boats to Heavy Battle Canoes and Heavy Cannon Boats, respectively.

- While this technology renames Warships to Heavy Warships, it is not a prerequisite technology for Legendary Canoes.
