Heavy Ranged Soldiers (named Heavy Archers before Retold) is a Greek and Atlantean technology in Age of Mythology. It increases the hit points, attack and Line of Sight of Archers.
Between Tale of the Dragon's release and patch 2.7, the Norse had access to Heavy Archers at half price.

- The Norse do not have access to Heavy Archers.
- Heavy Archers does not affect range.
Tale of the Dragon[]
- The Norse have access to Heavy Archers.
- With patch 2.7, Heavy Archers gives +2 range to the Peltast and Turma. Norse no longer gain access to Heavy Archers, and Bogsveigir are instead upgraded with Heavy Infantry.
