The Heavy Hei Guang Cavalry is a cavalry unit in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - The Three Kingdoms available to the Shu , Wei , and Wu . It can be upgraded from the Hei Guang Cavalry at the Stable once the Imperial Age is reached. Its description is identical to that of the Knight line.

Originally, the Heavy Hei Guang Cavalry's anti-infantry attack did not translate to the Condottiero . With update 144358 , it was fixed.

Hei Guang means "Black Brilliant", and refers to a type of armor attested during the Three Kingdoms period.
With 10 melee armor, the fully upgraded Wei Hei Guang Cavalry line has the highest melee armor of Stable units. The title previously belonged to the Gurjara Camel Rider line and the Teuton Knight line in the Imperial Age at 7.
