Gun Running is a Big Button technology in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition - Knights of the Mediterranean that is available to the Aztecs, Haudenosaunee, Inca, and Lakota and can be researched at the Native Embassy once the Commerce Age is reached since update 13.12327. Once researched, it enables Native Embassies to train Pistoleros, Comancheros, Renegados and Captured Mortars, and to research Wild West.
With the Industrial Age "Old Ways" Home City Card, the cost is reduced to 350 coin.
The Lakota has access to the "Advanced Captured Mortar" Home City Card, which grants Gun Running for free, ships 3 Captured Mortars, and Captured Mortars cost -10% and 1 population less, for the cost of 750 coin.
