Greek Fire Projectiles is a unique technology in Age of Empires IV: The Sultans Ascend available to the Byzantines and Macedonian Dynasty in the Imperial Age. It increases the damage dealt by Counterweight Trebuchets and Mercenary Huihui Pao by +30%, and enables their projectile impact to engulf their target with lingering Greek Fire, dealing area damage. It affects both base and bonus damage. This technology replaces Geometry for these civilizations.

Civilization bonuses

• Byzantines: When researched at a Siege Workshop within the influence of a Cistern with the Dialecticus ability active, the research speed of this technology is 30% faster per water level at the Cistern.

Changelog

• With patch 12.1.2454, Greek Fire Projectiles now applies its bonus to bonus damage as well.
