This article is about the building in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms and Age of Empires: Return of Rome. For other uses of the term, see Granary. |
The Granary is a building in Age of Empires II and in Return of Rome. They cannot be constructed but appear in campaign scenarios and the respective games' Scenario Editor.
Granaries are not actually buildings, but terrains, like cliffs. Consequently, they do not have any assigned armor (including base armor which prevents taking unintended bonus damage). Additionally, no unit attacks them automatically, and has to be manually ordered to attack it.
Age of Empires[]
The Granary is an unconstructable building in Age of Empires: Return of Rome. It was imported from Age of Empires II, and is only available in the Scenario Editor (under the Other tab), much like its Age of Empires II counterpart. It serves merely decorative purposes. Granaries can be rotated in the Scenario Editor and come in five different forms.

- Due to an unknown bug, clicking or placing the mouse cursor on it made the game crash. The bug was fixed in a patch.
