| —In-game description | ||
The Governor of Sehwan is one of six choices of governors for the Tughlaq Dynasty that can be appointed to a Tughlaqabad Fort in Age of Empires IV: Dynasties of the East. Sehwan's specialty is religion, focusing on benefits for collecting gold through Relics and Sacred Sites, and benefits that apply to Healer Elephants.
Overview[]
The benefits granted by the Governor of Sehwan increase depending on the upgrade level of the Tughlaqabad Fort he is appointed to. If the Tughlaqabad Fort is destroyed, Sehwan can be appointed to a new one. Forts cannot be upgraded to level 4 without the Compound of the Defender landmark. The Palace of the Sultan can also be used to appoint Sehwan and immediately gain the level 4 bonuses listed.
| Level | Bonus |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | Relics and Sacred sites generate +20% gold. Units healed by Healer Elephants gain +10% damage for 10 seconds. |
| Level 2 | Units healed by Healer Elephants gain +15% damage for 10 seconds. |
| Level 3 | Units healed by Healer Elephants gain +20% damage for 10 seconds. |
| Level 4* | Healer Elephants heal 50% faster. |

Sehwan's benefits mostly do not apply until the Castle Age, unless the player chooses to Age up to the Feudal Age with Dome of the Faith. As a result, he is not a good choice for the first appointed Governor early in the game.
