Government Center

Template:Infobox Building In Age of Empires, the Government Center is a civilian building, at which many technologies can be researched. It allows you to build more than one Town Center. The technologies found in this building are needed to develop super-upgrades that are often essential in winning the game, especially in deathmatches. To build the government center, the market must be built beforehand.

Upgrades

• Bronze Age - Nobility - Increases defense of Cavalry, Chariots and Horse Archers
• Bronze Age - Architecture - Decreases build time and increases building and wall defense
• Bronze Age - Writing - Shares line of Sight with allies
• Iron Age - Aristocracy - Increases the speed of all Academy units by 25%
• Iron Age - Ballistics - Increases accuracy of archers and siege weapons
• Iron Age - Alchemy - Heleopolis and Ballista recieve +2 damage, all other ranged units recieve +1 damage
• Iron Age - Engineering - Increases range of siege weapons and siege ships.
