Golden Swamp is a random map in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.

Golden Swamp is a semi-open, swampy area that feature Water Buffaloes as the main herdable animals near the Town Centers, and Rhinoceroses as the huntable ones. The center of the map features a large island rich with Gold and Stone Mines, surrounded by shallow water filled with logs. Some areas of the map may feature Jaguars that will hamper the player's progress if encountered.
